1. Keep it simple.
Start by keeping it short and sweet. Even three deep breaths can shift your mindset and bring you some peace. From there, you can work your way up and it will become easier each time. Don’t stress if you get lost in thought or outside noise. Simply return back to your breath and keep going.
2. Set a schedule.
Some people prefer first thing in the morning, some right before bed and some end up doing both. Pick what works best for you and try to be consistent. Don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day. As Gabby Bernstein says – it’s about your comeback rate.
3. Find an app you like!
There’s an endless supply of apps that are available to assist you. I prefer to use Headspace and I also use many of Gabby Bernstein’s meditations. Find an app that works for you and get your guided meditation on!
